Redeem code on microsoft site (follow instructions in email).
Choose a recurring payment (which gives you 3 months extra free) - you can choose annual or monthly, doesnt matter. But its worth choose monthly just in case you do forget to cancel in 2027
Then go to cancel your subscription. It will then offer you another 2 months on top not to cancel it.
